What is a Paradigm?

What Is A Paradigm?

What Is A Paradigm And It’s Meaning?

What is a paradigm? What is a paradigm shift?

If you’ve heard of Bob Proctor then you may already know the meaning.

A paradigm is a multitude of habits.

That’s all it is.

Habits you have, things you do without ever thinking about it.

Paradigms are what make some people do the same things over and over (and most expect a different result!).

That’s what Albert Einstein called insanity.

Paradigms Are Silent And Shift Our Lives In The Background

They are habits that are programmed into our subconscious mind.

It’s how we get boxed in. It’s how we think inside the box.

We’re living in our own pre-programmed little world.

Joel Barker wrote a book on paradigms and said “To ignore the power of paradigm to influence your judgement is to put yourself at risk when exploring the future”.

That’s a pretty big deal.

He’s saying that your paradigm can stop you from a better future. “Exploring” meaning setting out to find something new and further along than you are right now.

Think about people you know.

Why do people who are very smart do such dumb things?

Why do some people spend years in school, possibly get doctorates degrees in subjects and end up doing dumb jobs, earning no money?

You can probably think of other situations friends and family were in where the answer was obvious to you but seem to go way over the person’s head.

It’s all due to paradigms.

They can be like blind spots, or they can be like roaring engines propelling you forward.

It comes down to your awareness of it.

This is why affirmations are so important.

They help you make a paradigm shift. Read more about affirmations here

Where the Paradigm Programing Begins

What is paradigm programming

We get pre-programmed as a baby.

Our minds were open wide and since we were unable to question, we took in everything. The good and the bad.

You were a product of your environment.

Then we’re sent off to school to learn. The school had curriculum that gave intellectual knowledge.

We hung out with the good and bad kids. All contributing to our paradigm in some way or another.

Most people continue living their life based solely off their limited paradigm.

The sad part is, they probably didn’t choose it.

It’s all the programming from years prior.

When you interrupt it and bring them a new idea, they shut it out right away. Maybe you do this as well.

Why We Have Resistance To New Things And Ideas

You see, when we have an idea that is outside our paradigm, there’s automatic resistance against it.

  • “That’ll never work.”
  • “It takes money to make money.”
  • “I could never do that.”

These are all pre-programmed responses that come straight out of the paradigm.

That’s not the real you talking.

How To Make A Paradigm Shift

As you start to challenge those pre-programmed responses, this is how to shift your paradigm.

You impress a new idea, one you chose into your subconscious mind.

You get emotionally involved with an idea and the longer you hold that idea in your mind the deeper it is impressed into your subconscious.

Did you realize you can make a habit out of creating new and better paradigms?

It can be difficult at first but through affirmations and understanding the law of the universe, you can definitely do it. Read on the Laws Of The Universe here.

Shift The Paradigm, Change Your Life.

Hopefully I’ve answered, “what is a paradigm?” and “what is a paradigm shift?”.

Keep this in mind..

As you try and override the paradigm you get hit with what Bob Proctor calls a terror barrier and you back away because it scares the living daylights out of you.

It makes you go to what is comfortable.

That’s the paradigm controlling you.

Imagine if your comfort zone was you doing the things that caused you to achieve your goals.

Shift your paradigm, change your world.

If you’re serious about changing your paradigm you need to look into Six Minutes To Success. It will consistently impress new ideas into your mind that will cause a paradigm shift.
